Looking for an experienced systems administrator to manage our growing server infrastructure at Trade-Ideas, the industry leader in stock market data and alerting.

Our environment consists of several Linux and a few Windows servers in a data center with tens of thousands of simultaneous connections from users. Experience in an AWS environment is also helpful.

Important pieces of our environment include several servers running custom C++ code on Linux, a single master MySql database environment, several web servers running Apache, and more. Experience with multi-master database systems would be preferred.

The right candidate will have strong knowledge of best practices for managing large networked server environments with great scripting skills.

You should be familiar with administration tools like Ansible, VMWare, and monitoring via a tool like Munin or Prometheus. Experience in architecting CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
